This document specifies an apparatus and the procedures for the laboratory wet disintegration of mechanical pulps that exhibit latency except when brightness is measured. This apparatus and procedure can be used for preparation of the test portion in other International Standards dealing with pulps.
This document is applicable to all kind of mechanical pulps (i.e. mechanical, semi-chemical and chemi-mechanical pulps) exhibiting latency.

Dieses Dokument legt eine Prüfeinrichtung und die Verfahren zum Nassaufschlagen von Holzstoffen mit Latenz im Labor fest, außer wenn der Weißgrad gemessen wird. Die Prüfeinrichtung und das Verfahren kann auch zur Vorbereitung von Prüfmengen in anderen Internationalen Normen zum Thema Faserstoffe verwendet werden.
Dieses Dokument ist für alle Holzstoffarten (d. h. Holzstoffe, Halbzellstoffe und chemische Holzstoffe) mit Latenz anwendbar.

Le présent document spécifie un appareillage et les modes opératoires pour la désintégration humide en laboratoire des pâtes mécaniques qui présentent une latence, excepté lorsque le degré de blancheur est mesuré. Cet appareillage et ce mode opératoire peuvent être utilisés pour la préparation de la prise d’essai dans d’autres Normes internationales portant sur les pâtes.
Le présent document est applicable à tous les types de pâtes mécaniques (à savoir pâtes mécaniques, mi-chimiques et chimico-mécaniques) présentant une latence.

Ta dokument določa napravo in postopke za laboratorijsko mokro razvlaknjevanje mehanske celuloze, ki kaže zgubanost, razen če je izmerjena svetlost. Ta naprava in postopek se lahko uporabljata za pripravo testnih količin v drugih mednarodnih standardih, ki obravnavajo celulozo.
Dokument se uporablja za vse vrste mehanske celuloze (tj. mehanska, polkemična in kemično-mehanska celuloza), ki izkazuje zgubanost.

This document (EN ISO 5263-3:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 6 "Paper,
board and pulps" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 172 “Pulp, paper and board” the
secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2023, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by August 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
