This document specifies an oven-drying method for the determination of the dry matter content in suspensions of cellulosic nanomaterials. The procedure is applicable to cellulosic nanomaterial suspensions which do not contain any appreciable quantities of materials other than water that are volatile at the temperature of 105 °C ± 2 °C. It is used, for example, in the case of cellulosic nanomaterial suspensions samples taken for chemical and physical tests in the laboratory, when a concurrent determination of dry matter content is required.
NOTE      This document determines the total dry matter content of the sample, including any dissolved solids. If only the cellulosic material content free of dissolved solids is desired, dissolved solids are removed prior to measuring the dry matter content, e.g. by washing or dialysis, taking care to retain all cellulosic material.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Wärmeschrankverfahren für die Bestimmung des Trockengehaltes in Suspensionen von cellulosehaltigen Nanomaterialien fest. Das Verfahren ist anwendbar für Suspensionen von cellulosehaltigen Nanomaterialien, die außer Wasser keine nennenswerten Mengen von Materialien enthalten, die bei einer Temperatur von 105 °C ± 2 °C flüchtig sind. Es wird z. B. bei Durchschnittsproben aus Suspensionen von cellulosehaltigen Nanomaterialien verwendet, die für chemische und physikalische Prüfungen im Laboratorium entnommen werden, wenn eine gleichzeitige Bestimmung des Trockengehaltes erforderlich ist.
ANMERKUNG   Dieses Dokument dient der Bestimmung des Gesamttrockengehaltes der Durchschnittsprobe einschließlich aller gelöster Feststoffe. Wird nur der Gehalt an cellulosehaltigem Material ohne die gelösten Feststoffe gewünscht, werden gelöste Feststoffe vor der Messung des Trockengehaltes z. B. durch Waschen oder Dialyse entfernt, wobei darauf zu achten ist, dass das gesamte cellulosehaltige Material erhalten bleibt.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode par séchage à l'étuve pour la détermination de la teneur en matières sèches dans des suspensions de nanomatériaux cellulosiques. La méthode est applicable aux suspensions de nanomatériaux cellulosiques ne contenant pas des quantités appréciables de matières autres que l'eau, volatiles à la température de 105 °C ± 2 °C. Elle est utilisée, par exemple, dans le cas d'échantillons de suspensions de nanomatériaux cellulosiques prélevés en vue d'analyses chimiques et d’essais physiques effectués en laboratoire lorsqu'il faut procéder à la détermination simultanée de la teneur en matières sèches.
NOTE      Le présent document détermine la teneur totale en matières sèches d’un échantillon, y compris tout solide dissous. Pour obtenir la teneur en matériaux cellulosiques sans solides dissous, ces derniers sont éliminés avant de mesurer la teneur en matières sèches, par exemple par lavage ou dialyse, en prenant soin de conserver l'ensemble des matériaux cellulosiques.

Ta dokument določa metodo sušenja v sušilniku za določevanje vsebnosti suhe snovi v suspenziji celuloznih nanomaterialov. Postopek se uporablja za suspenzije celuloznih nanomaterialov, ki ne vsebujejo nobenih znatnih količin materialov (razen vode) in ki so hlapni pri temperaturi 105 °C ± 2 °C. Uporablja se na primer pri vzorcih suspenzij celuloznih nanomaterialov,
odvzetih za kemične in fizikalne preskuse v laboratoriju, kadar je potrebno sočasno določanje vsebnosti suhe snovi.
OPOMBA: Ta dokument določa celotno vsebnost suhe snovi v vzorcu, vključno z vsemi raztopljenimi trdnimi snovmi.
Če je zaželena samo vsebnost celuloznega materiala brez raztopljenih trdnih snovi, se raztopljene trdne snovi odstranijo pred merjenjem vsebnosti suhe snovi, npr. s pranjem ali dializo, pri čemer je treba paziti, da se zadrži ves celulozni material.

board and pulps" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 172 “Pulp, paper and board” the
secretariat of which is held by DIN.

identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by September 2022, and conflicting national standards
