Electrodeposited coatings - Electroplated coatings of aluminium and aluminium alloys with supplementary treatment - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard specifies requirements for electrodeposited aluminium and aluminium alloy coatings on iron materials, plastic substrates, titanium materials, nickel materials and non-metallic substrate materials rendered conductive, such as plastics. The coatings serve either as corrosion or galvanic corrosion protection, as well as for other technical applications.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an galvanisch abgeschiedene Überzüge aus Aluminium und Aluminiumlegierungen auf Eisenwerkstoffen, auf Grundwerkstoffen aus Kunststoff, auf Titanwerkstoffen, Nickelwerkstoffen und leitfähig gemachten nichtmetallischen Grundmaterialien, z. B. Kunststoffen, fest. Die Überzüge dienen als Korrosions  bzw. Kontaktkorrosionsschutz und für andere technische Anwendungen.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives aux revêtements électrolytiques d’aluminium
et d’alliage d’aluminium sur les matériaux ferreux, les substrats plastiques, le titane, le nickel et les substrats
non métalliques rendus conducteurs, comme le plastique. Les revêtements servent de protection contre la
corrosion ou contre la corrosion bimétallique, ainsi que pour d’autres applications techniques.
