This part of EN 1151 establishes general principles for the construction, use and testing of circulation pumps of the glandless type, having a rated power input P1 £ 200 W, intended to be used in heating installations and domestic hot water service installations.
NOTE   The requirements of this document may apply to circulation pumps for domestic use having a rated power input above 200 W up to and including 300 W. However, this decision depends on agreement between the supplier and purchaser.
Circulation pumps with a rated power input above 200 W for professional/commercial use are excluded from the scope of this document.
This document applies to:
a)   A.C. circulation pumps having a rated power input P1 £ 200 W intended for use in ordinary heating water systems with a maximum permissible inlet temperature of TF £ 110 °C and a maximum outlet working pressure p2max o £ 6 bar.
b)   A.C. circulation pumps having a rated power input P1 £ 200 W intended for use in domestic hot water installations with a permissible inlet temperature of TF £ 65 °C and a maximum outlet working pressure p2max o £ 10 bar.
This document applies to circulation pumps, which are manufactured after the date of issue of this document.
This document covers the performance for circulation pumps. All known hazards which are likely to occur at normal installation and operation are covered by the European Standards EN 809 and EN 60335-2-51:2003.
As regards safety for electrotechnical parts of circulation pumps, EN 60335-2-51:2003 applies.

Pumpen - Kreiselpumpen - Umwälzpumpen mit elektrischer Leistungsaufnahme bis 200 W für Heizungsanlagen und Brauchwassererwärmungsanlagen für den Hausgebrauch - Teil 1: Nicht-automatische Umwälzpumpen, Anforderungen, Prüfung, Kennzeichnung

Diese Europäische Norm stellt allgemeine Grundsätze für Umwälzpumpen mit Nassläufermotoren mit elektrischer Leistungsaufnahme P1  200 W für Heizungs- und Brauchwassererwärmungsanlagen auf, wie sie für die Konstruktion, die Verwendung, die Prüfung benötigt werden.
ANMERKUNG      Die Anforderungen dieser Europäischen Norm können für Umwälzpumpen für den Hausgebrauch mit elektrischer Leistungsaufnahme über 200 W bis 300 W angewendet werden. Diese Entscheidung hängt jedoch von der Vereinbarung zwischen Lieferer und Käufer ab.
Umwälzpumpen mit einer elektrischen Leistungsaufnahme über 200 W für den gewerblichen/kommerziellen Gebrauch werden nicht von dieser Europäischen Norm behandelt.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für:
a)   Umwälzpumpen mit elektrischer Leistungsaufnahme P1  200 W Wechselstrom für herkömmliche Hei¬zungsanlagen mit einer maximal zulässigen Vorlauftemperatur von TF  110 °C und einem maximalen Arbeitsdruck am Austritt der Heizungsanlage von p2maxo 6  bar.
b)   Umwälzpumpen mit elektrischer Leistungsaufnahme P1  200 W Wechselstrom für Brauchwasserer¬wär¬mungs¬anlagen mit einer zulässigen Vorlauftemperatur von TF  65 °C und einem maximalen Arbeitsdruck am Austritt von p2maxo  10 bar.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Umwälzpumpen, die nach dem Ausgabedatum dieser Europäischen Norm hergestellt werden.
Zusammen mit EN 809 behandelt diese Europäische Norm die mechanischen Sachverhalte der Sicherheit und der Leistung für Umwälzpumpen. Sämtliche in Verbindung mit einer üblichen Installation und Bedienung möglichen und bekannten Gefahren sind von dieser Europäischen Norm umfasst.
Im Hinblick auf die Sicherheitsanforderungen für elektrotechnische Bauteile von Umwälzpumpen gilt EN 60335-2-51:1991.

La présente partie de l'EN 1151 établit des principes généraux pour la construction, l'utilisation et les essais
des circulateurs de type à rotor noyé d'une puissance absorbée nominale P 1 £ 200 W destinés à être utilisés
pour le chauffage central et la distribution d'eau chaude sanitaire domestique.
NOTE Les exigences du présent document peuvent s'appliquer aux circulateurs à usage domestique d'une
puissance absorbée nominale comprise entre 200 W et 300 W inclus. Cependant, cette décision dépend de l'accord
conclu entre le fournisseur et l'acheteur.
Les circulateurs d'une puissance absorbée nominale supérieure à 200 W pour une utilisation
