Laboratory furniture - Recommendations for design and installation

The European Standard gives guidance for the installation of laboratory benches, storage units and services and their connections and fittings.

Laboreinrichtungen - Empfehlungen für Anordnung und Montage

Diese Europäische Norm gibt Empfehlungen für die Montage und Anordnung von Labortischen, Schränken und Medien sowie ihrer Anschlüsse und Verbindungen. Die Empfehlungen richten sich an alle Parteien, die an der Planung, Herstellung, Einrichtung und Benutzung eines neuen Labors oder am Umbau eines bestehenden Labors
beteiligt sind.
ANMERKUNG  1    Es wird auf nationale Vorschriften für Strom-, Wasser- und Gasversorgung hingewiesen.
ANMERKUNG 2      Es wird auf Bauvorschriften und Bauanforderungen hingewiesen, z.B. für Bodenbelastung.
ANMERKUNG 3      Risikobeurteilung und geeignete Vorkehrungen bei der Anwendung von Laborausrüstung und Einrichtung liegen in der Verantwortung des Laborbetreibers und des Laborbenutzers.
ANMERKUNG 4      Es wird auf alle nationalen Vorschriften hingewiesen, die für die Übertragung von Verantwortlichkeiten während des Baus und der Einrichtung von Laboratorien gelten.

Mobilier de laboratoire - Recommandations de conception et d'installation

La présente Norme européenne donne des recommandations concernant l'installation et la conception des paillasses, unités de stockage et alimentations associées, et de leurs raccordements et accessoires. Ces recommandations peuvent être utilisées par toutes les parties impliquées dans la conception, la fabrication, l'installation et l'utilisation d'un nouveau laboratoire ou dans la rénovation d'un ancien laboratoire.
NOTE 1   L'attention est attirée sur le respect des réglementations nationales en matière d'alimentation en électricité, eau et gaz.
NOTE 2   L'attention est attirée sur les réglementations et exigences en matière de bâtiment, par exemple en ce qui concerne la charge des planchers.
NOTE 3   En matière d'utilisation du matériel et du mobilier de laboratoire, l'évaluation des risques et les précautions à prendre relèvent de la responsabilité de l'organisation gestionnaire du laboratoire et de l'utilisateur du laboratoire.
NOTE 4   L'attention est attirée sur les réglementations nationales relatives au transfert de responsabilité pendant la construction et l'installation du laboratoire.
