Ta del standarda EN 927 določa preskusno metodo za ocenjevanje prepustnosti vode pri premaznih sistemih za zaščito lesa za zunanjo uporabo z merjenjem vpojnosti vode na premazanih lesenih ploščah.
Rezultati so izraženi kot vpijanje vode v gramih na kvadratni meter v 72 urah.
