Railway applications - Track - Switches and crossings - Part 3: Requirements for wheel/rail interaction

This part of this European Standard specifies:
- characterisation of wheel and track dimensions;
- geometric design principles for wheel guidance;
- design principles for wheel load transfer;
- deciding whether movable crossings are needed.
These are illustrated by their application to turnout components:
- switches;
- crossings;
- check rails.
but the principles apply equally to more complex layouts.

Diese Europäische Norm umfasst folgende Bereiche:
¾ Beschreibung der Rad- und Gleismaße;
¾ geometrische Entwurfsgrundsätze für die Radführung;
¾ Entwurfsrichtlinien für die Radlastübertragung;
¾ Entscheidung darüber, ob Herzstücke mit beweglichen Bauteilen erforderlich sind.
Diese werden in ihrer Anwendung auf die Weichenbauteile
¾ Zungenvorrichtungen;
¾ Herzstücke;
¾ Radlenker
dargestellt, jedoch sind die Grundsätze auch auf umfangreichere Gleisanlagen anwendbar.

La présente partie de la Norme européenne traite des sujets suivants :
   caractérisation des dimensions des roues et des voies ;
   principe de conception géométrique pour le guidage des roues ;
   principe de conception pour le transfert de charge des roues ;
   décision sur la nécessité d'utiliser des c�urs à parties mobiles.
Les sujets sont illustrés par l'application aux composants du branchement :
   aiguillages ;
   c�urs ;
   contre-rails.
mais les principes s'appliquent également aux appareils de voie plus complexes.
