Chemicals used for treatment of water intended for human consumption - Potassium permanganate
This European Standard is applicable to potassium permanganate used for treatment of water intended for human consumption. It describes the characteristics of potassium permanganate and specifies the requirements and the corresponding test methods for potassium permanganate. It gives information on its use in water treatment. It also provides general information on potassium permanganate (see Annex A) and determines the rules relating to its safe handling and use (see Annex B).

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Salzsäure zur Aufbereitung von Wasser für den menschlichen Gebrauch. Sie beschreibt die Eigenschaften von Salzsäure und legt die Anforderungen sowie die entsprechenden Prüfverfahren für Salzsäure fest. Sie enthält Angaben zu deren Anwendung in der Wasseraufbereitung (siehe Anhang A). Darüber hinaus legt sie Regeln für die sichere Handhabung und Verwendung von Salzsäure fest (siehe Anhang B).

La présente Norme européenne s’applique au permanganate de potassium utilisé pour le traitement de l’eau destinée à la consommation humaine. Elle décrit les caractéristiques du permanganate de potassium et spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d’essai correspondantes. Elle donne des informations pour son emploi dans le traitement de l’eau. Elle fournit également des informations générales sur le permanganate de potassium (voir l’Annexe A) et fixe les règles relatives à sa sécurité de manipulation et d‘utilisation (voir l’Annexe B).

Ta evropski standard se uporablja za kalijev permanganat, ki se uporablja za pripravo pitne vode. Opisuje lastnosti kalijevega permanganata ter določa zahteve in ustrezne preskusne metode zanj. Standard podaja informacije za njegovo uporabo pri pripravi vode. Poleg tega vsebuje splošne informacije o kalijevem permanganatu (glej dodatek A) ter določa pravila za varno ravnanje z njim in njegovo uporabo (glej dodatek B).
