Dieser Teil von ISO 8502 beschreibt eine Feldprüfung zum Bestimmen von Chloridionen mit speziellen Prüfröhrchen.
Zusammen mit geeigneten Probenahmeverfahren ist die Prüfung auf Stahloberflächen vor und nach dem Reinigen sowie auf beschichtete Oberflächen zwischen dem Auftragen  einzelner Schichten anwendbar.

The text of ISO 8502-5:1998 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 35 "Paints and
varnishes” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over
as EN ISO 8502-5:2004 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 139 "Paints and varnishes", the
secretariat of which is held by DIN.

Cette Norme européenne devra recevoir le statut de norme nationale, soit par publication d'un
texte identique, soit par entérinement, au plus tard en juin 2005, et toutes les normes nationales
en contradiction devront être retirées au plus tard en juin 2005.
