Small craft - Maximum load capacity (ISO 14946:2021)

This document specifies the items included in the maximum load of small craft, without exceeding the limits set by other ISO standards for stability, freeboard, and flotation. It further sets requirements for seating and occupancy areas of crew members.
Personal watercraft are excluded from the Scope of this document.

Dieses Dokument legt die Positionen fest, die in die maximale Zuladung von kleinen Wasserfahrzeugen einzubeziehen sind, ohne dass die Grenzen überschritten werden, die von anderen ISO Normen für Stabilität, Freibord und Auftrieb festgelegt sind. Sie legt weiterhin Anforderungen an Sitzplätze und Aufenthaltsbereiche für die Mannschaft fest.
Wasserskooter sind vom Anwendungsbereich dieses Dokuments ausgeschlossen.

Il établit également les exigences concernant les sièges et les zones d’occupation pour les membres de l’équipage.
Les motos aquatiques sont exclues du domaine d'application de ce document.

This document (EN ISO 14946:2021) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 188 "Small
craft" in collaboration with CCMC.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2021, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2021.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 14946:2001.
