Aluminium and aluminium alloys - Scrap - Part 3: Wire and cable scrap

This European Standard specifies characteristics, chemical composition and metal yield of new and old scrap recovered from wire or cable of unalloyed aluminium with a chemical composition not less than 99,5 % aluminium, or of defined aluminium alloys.
Example
New scrap from manufacturing of cables and wires.
Old scrap from used aluminium cables obtained from dismantling of electrical lines.

Dieser Teil dieser Europäischen Norm legt die Anforderungen an die Eigenschaften, chemische Zusammensetzung und Metallausbeute von Neuschrott und Altschrott fest, der aus Drähten und Kabeln aus unlegiertem Aluminium, besteht, deren chemische Zusammensetzung nicht weniger als 99,5 % Aluminium ergibt oder der aus definierten Aluminiumlegierungen besteht.

Cette partie de la présente norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques, la composition chimique et le rendement en métal des nouveaux et anciens scrap d'aluminium provenant de la récupération de fils ou de câbles d'aluminium non allié dont la composition chimique présente une teneur inférieure à 99,5 % d'aluminium, ou qui sont constitués d'alliages d'aluminium de composition définie.
