This Technical Specification gives guidance for the assessment of conformity of materials (compounds/formulations), products and assemblies in accordance with EN 1455 1 intended to be included in the manufacturer’s quality plan as part of the quality management system and for the establishment of third-party certification procedures.
NOTE 1 It is recommended that the quality management system conforms to or is no less stringent than the relevant requirements to EN ISO 9001 [1].
NOTE 2 If third-party certification is involved, it is recommended that the certification body is accredited to EN 45011 [2], EN 45012 [3] or EN ISO/IEC 17021 [4], as applicable.
NOTE 3 In order to help the reader, a basic test matrix is given in Annex A.
In conjunction with EN 1455 1, this document is applicable to solid wall piping systems made of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) intended to be used for the following purposes:
- for soil and waste discharge (low and high temperature) inside buildings (application area code "B");
- for soil and waste discharge (low and high temperature) inside buildings and buried in ground within the building structure (application area code "BD").
NOTE 4 This is reflected in the marking of products by "B" or "BD".

Diese Technische Spezifikation enthält Empfehlungen für die Beurteilung der Konformität von Werkstoffen (Formmassen/Zusammensetzungen), Erzeugnissen und Bauteilkombinationen entsprechend EN 1455-1, die als Teil des Qualitätsmanagementsystems im Qualitätssicherungsplan des Herstellers und für die Einführung von Verfahren der Drittstellenzertifizierung vorgesehen sind. ANMERKUNG 1 Es wird empfohlen, dass das Qualitätsmanagementsystem EN ISO 9001 [1] oder mindestens ebenso strengen Anforderungen entspricht. ANMERKUNG 2 Bei Drittstellenzertifizierung wird empfohlen, dass die Zertifizierungsstelle in Abhängigkeit von der Anwendung entsprechend EN 45011 [2], EN 45012 [3] oder EN ISO/IEC 17021 [4] zugelassen ist. ANMERKUNG 3 Zur Unterstützung der Leser enthält Anhang A eine Übersicht über das Prüfsystem. Dieses Dokument gilt in Verbindung mit EN 1455-1 für Rohrleitungssysteme aus Acrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol (ABS) für folgende vorgesehene Verwendungszwecke:
- zum Ableiten von Abwasser (niedriger und hoher Temperatur) innerhalb von Gebäuden (Anwendungs-kennzeichen B);
- zum Ableiten von Abwasser (niedriger und hoher Temperatur) sowohl innerhalb von Gebäuden als auch erdverlegt innerhalb der Gebäudestruktur (Anwendungskennzeichen BD). ANMERKUNG 4 Dies spiegelt sich in den Kennzeichnungen B bzw. BD der Erzeugnisse wider.

La présente Spécification technique fournit un guide pour l’évaluation de la conformité des matières
(compositions/formulations), produits et montages en conformité avec l’EN 1455-1, destiné à être inclus dans
le plan qualité du fabricant dans le cadre du système de management de la qualité et pour l’établissement de
procédures de certification par tierce partie.
NOTE 1 Il est recommandé que le système de management de la qualité soit conforme aux exigences pertinentes de
l'EN ISO 9001 [1] ou au moins aussi strict que ces exigences.
NOTE 2 En cas de certification par tierce partie, il est recommandé que l'organisme de certification soit accrédité selon
l'EN 45011 [2], l'EN 45012 [3] ou l'EN ISO/CEI 17021 [4], suivant le cas.
NOTE 3 Afin d’aider le lecteur, une matrice d'essais de base est fournie en Annexe A.
Conjointement avec l'EN 1455-1 (voir l'Avant-propos), le présent document s'applique aux systèmes de
canalisations à paroi compacte en acrylonitrile-butadiène-styrène (ABS) destinés à être utilisés :
- pour l'évacuation des eaux-vannes et des eaux usées (à basse et à haute température) à l'intérieur des
bâtiments (code de zone d'application «B»), et
- pour l'évacuation des eaux-vannes et des eaux usées (à basse et à haute température) à l'intérieur des
bâtiments et enterrés à l'intérieur de la structure du bâtiment (code de zone d'application «BD»),
NOTE 4 Ceci se traduit au niveau du marquage des produits par «B» ou «BD».

Ta tehnična specifikacija vsebuje navodila za ugotavljanje skladnosti materialov (spojin/formulacij), izdelkov in sestavov s standardom EN 1455-1, pri čemer naj bi se te informacije vključile v poslovnik kakovosti proizvajalca kot del sistema vodenja kakovosti in za vzpostavitev postopka certificiranja, ki ga izvajajo tretje osebe. Ta dokument se v povezavi s standardom EN 1455-1 uporablja za trde cevne sisteme iz akrilonitril-butadien-stirena (ABS), ki naj bi se uporabljali za: – (nizko- in visokotemperaturne) odvodne sisteme v zgradbah (koda območja uporabe »B«); – (nizko- in visokotemperaturne) odvodne sisteme v zgradbah in sisteme, vkopane v zgradbah (koda območja uporabe »BD«).

This Technical Specification (CEN/TS) was approved by CEN on 9 January 2012 for provisional application.
The period of validity of this CEN/TS is limited initially to three years. After two years the members of CEN will be requested to submit their
comments, particularly on the question whether the CEN/TS can be converted into a European Standard.
CEN members are required to announce the existence of this CEN/TS in the same way as for an EN and to make the CEN/TS available
promptly at national level in an appropriate form. It is permissible to keep conflicting national standards in force (in parallel to the CEN/TS)
until the final decision about the possible conversion of the CEN/TS into an EN is reached.
