WC pans and WC suites - Connecting dimensions

This European Standard specifies the connecting dimensions of WC pans and WC suites regardless of the materials used for their manufacture.
This European Standard does not apply to siphonic action WC pans and WC suites.
NOTE 1   Other connecting dimensions are permitted, e. g. special designs of WC pans, if the manufacturer supplies or recommends the appropriate fittings.
NOTE 2   The shape of the appliance in the figures is for illustration only; it in no way prejudices the final shape of the appliance, which is left to the initiative of the manufacturer.

WC-Becken und WC-Anlagen - Anschlussmaße

Diese Europäische Norm legt Anschlussmaße für WC-Becken und WC-Anlagen, unabhängig vom für ihre Herstellung verwendeten Werkstoff, fest.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Absauge-WCs und -WC-Anlagen.
ANMERKUNG 1      Andere Anschlussmaße sind zulässig, z. B. für spezielle Ausführungen von WC-Becken, wenn der Hersteller eine geeignete Ablaufgarnitur mitliefert oder empfiehlt.
ANMERKUNG 2      Die in den Bildern dargestellte Form der Gegenstände wurde nur für das bessere Verständnis gewählt; sie schreibt nicht die endgültige Form der Gegenstände vor, die der Wahl des Herstellers überlassen bleibt.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les cotes de raccordement des cuvettes de WC à alimentation indépendante et des cuvettes de WC à réservoir attenant, quels que soient les matériaux entrant dans leur fabrication.
Cette Norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux cuvettes de WC à action siphonique.
NOTE 1   D’autres cotes de raccordement sont admises, par exemple pour les modèle spéciaux de cuvettes de WC, si le fabricant fournit ou recommande les dispositifs appropriés
