This European Standard specifies the requirements for inspection and maintenance of LPG cylinder valves for reuse. It applies when the valve is inspected, repaired or refurbished at the time of periodic inspection of the cylinder.
The periodic inspection of cylinders is described in EN 1440, EN 14795, EN 14914, and EN 14767.
This European Standard may also be applied at any other time, for example when maintenance of the valve is necessary.
Flüssiggas-Geräte und Ausrüstungsteile - Prüfung und Wartung von Ventilen für Flüssiggas (LPG)-Flaschen zum Zeitpunkt der wiederkehrenden Prüfung bei Flaschen
Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen für die Prüfung und Wartung von Ventilen für Flüssiggas-(
LPG)-Flaschen fest. Sie muss dann angewendet werden, wenn das Ventil während der wiederkehrenden
Prüfung der Flasche nicht ersetzt wurde.
Für Flaschen sind die wiederkehrenden Prüfungen in EN 1440, EN 14795, EN 14914 und EN 14767
beschrieben.
Diese Europäische Norm kann zu jedem anderen Zeitpunkt angewendet werden, wenn beispielsweise die
Wartung eines Ventils nötig ist.

La présente Norme européenne prescrit les exigences relatives au contrôle et à l'entretien des robinets de
bouteilles de GPL. Elle doit être appliquée lorsque le robinet est contrôlé, réparé ou rénové lors du contrôle
périodique de la bouteille.
Le contrôle périodique des bouteilles est décrit dans les normes EN 1440, EN 14795, EN 14914, et EN 14767.
La présente Norme européenne peut également être appliquée à tout autre moment, par exemple lorsque
l'entretien du robinet est nécessaire.
