This document specifies four methods of test for textile floor coverings (with or without an underlay, see Clause 9) using the Lisson Tretrad machine.
— test A: determination of mass loss of textile floor coverings, also used to assess fibre bind of synthetic pile carpets;
— test B: determination of stair nosing appearance change of textile floor coverings;
— test C: determination of fibre bind on synthetic loop pile carpets;
— test D: determination of fibre bind (hairiness) on needled floor coverings and floor coverings without pile.
Textile Bodenbeläge - Bestimmung des Masseverlusts, der Fasereinbindung und der Änderung des Aussehens textiler Bodenbeläge an Treppenkanten mittels Lisson-Tretradgerät (ISO 12951:2020)
Dieses Dokument legt vier Prüfverfahren für textile Bodenbeläge (mit oder ohne Unterlage, siehe Abschnitt 9) mit dem Lisson-Tretradgerät fest:
- Prüfung A: Bestimmung des Masseverlustes textiler Bodenbeläge, auch zur Bestimmung der Fasereinbindung synthetischer Polteppiche verwendet;
- Prüfung B: Bestimmung der Änderung des Aussehens textiler Bodenbeläge an Treppenkanten;
- Prüfung C: Bestimmung der Fasereinbindung von Synthetik-Schlingenpol-Bodenbelägen;
- Prüfung D: Bestimmung der Fasereinbindung (Haarigkeit) von Nadelvlies-Bodenbelägen und Bodenbelägen ohne Pol.

Le présent document spécifie quatre méthodes d'essai de revêtements de sol textiles (avec ou sans thibaude, voir l'Article 9) à l'aide de la machine Lisson Tretrad.
— Essai A: détermination de la perte de masse des revêtements de sol textiles, utilisé également pour évaluer la sensibilité au défibrage de moquettes synthétiques;
— Essai B: détermination du changement d'aspect au nez de marche des revêtements de sol textiles;
— Essai C: détermination de la sensibilité au défibrage des moquettes synthétiques de velours bouclé;
— Essai D: détermination de la sensibilité à l'ébouriffage des revêtements de sol aiguilletés et des revêtements de sol sans velours.

This document (EN ISO 12951:2020) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 "Floor
coverings" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 “Resilient, textile and laminate floor
coverings” the secretariat of which is held by NBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2020, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2020.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 12951:2015.
According to the CEN-CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the
