Textile floor coverings - Classification of pile carpets

This European Standard specifies the requirements for classification of all wall-to-wall pile carpets and pile carpet tiles (see ISO 2424) into use classes in respect of wear and appearance retention and classes for luxury rating. This European Standard is also applicable to pile carpet tiles, the additional requirements for which are given in Annex A.
This European Standard is not applicable to needled carpets or to rugs.
This European Standard refers to the classification as defined in EN 685.

Textile Bodenbeläge - Einstufung von Polteppichen

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an die Einstufung von Polteppich Auslegeware und Polteppich Fliesen (siehe ISO 2424) in Gebrauchsklassen bezüglich Verschleiß und Aussehenserhalt und in Komfort-Klassen fest. Diese Norm ist auch auf Polteppich-Fliesen anwendbar; die zusätzlichen Anforde-rungen sind in Anhang A enthalten.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für Nadelvliese oder abgepasste Teppiche.
Dieses Dokument bezieht sich auf die Einteilung nach EN 685.

Revêtements de sols textiles - Classement d'usage des moquettes

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences relatives au classement de l’ensemble des moquettes mur à mur et des moquettes en dalles (voir l’ISO 2424) en classement d’usage en fonction de la résistance à l’usure et de la conservation d’aspect et classement confort. Elle est également applicable aux moquettes en dalles. Les exigences supplémentaires concernant ces dernières sont fournies dans l’Annexe A.
La présente Norme européenne ne s’applique ni aux moquettes aiguilletées ni aux carpettes.
La présente Norme européenne se réfère à la classification définie dans l'EN 685.
