Meritve površine in mase preskušanca ter izračun njegove mase na površinsko enoto v gramih na kvadratni meter. V tem delu standarda ISO 9073 so določene zahteve za izpolnitev posebnih potreb vlakovin, ki so drugačne od zahtev, navedenih v standardu ISO 3801. Nanašajo se na a) drugačen postopek vzorčenja; b) drugo specifikacijo za dimenzije preskušanca; c) večjo natančnost za ravnovesje.

This document (EN ISO 9073-1:2023) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 38 "Textiles"
in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 248 “Textiles and textile products” the secretariat of
which is held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2023, and conflicting national standards
shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2023.

mass per unit area" to "Nonwovens — Test methods — Part 1: Determination of mass per unit area";
— the mandatory Terms and definitions clause (Clause 3) has been added and subsequent clauses have
been renumbered;
— the text has been reviewed and improved.
