Resilient floor coverings - Specification for plain and decorative linoleum (ISO 24011:2009)

ISO 24011:2009 specifies the characteristics of plain and decorative linoleum, supplied as either tiles or rolls.
To encourage the consumer to make an informed choice, ISO 24011:2009 includes a classification system based on the intensity of use, which shows where resilient floor coverings provide satisfactory service.
The term 'linoleum' is frequently incorrectly applied to a range of floor coverings, often to those based on poly(vinyl chloride) or rubber. Such materials are not included in ISO 24011:2009.

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Eigenschaften von Linoleum mit und ohne Muster fest, das entweder in Form von Platten oder Rollen geliefert wird. Um den Verbraucher bei seiner Auswahl zu unterstützen, enthält diese Internationale Norm ein Klassifizierungssystem auf Basis der Nutzungsintensität, das zeigt, wo für diese elastischen Bodenbeläge ein zufriedenstellender Nutzen möglich ist. Der Begriff "Linoleum" wird häufig fälschlicherweise auch für andere Bodenbeläge, oft für solche auf Basis von Polyvinylchlorid oder Elastomeren, verwendet. Derartige Materialien sind nicht in dieses Dokument eingeschlossen.

L'ISO 24011:2009 spécifie les caractéristiques du linoléum uni et décoratif sous forme de rouleaux ou de dalles.
Pour aider le consommateur à faire son choix, l'ISO 24011:2009 inclut un système de classification basé sur l'intensité d'utilisation, indiquant l'endroit où il convient que le revêtement de sol résilient rende un service satisfaisant.
Le terme «linoléum» est fréquemment appliqué de manière incorrecte à une gamme de revêtements de sol, souvent à base de polychlorure de vinyle ou de caoutchouc. Ce type de produit n'est pas couvert par l'ISO 24011:2009.

Da bi ta dokument potrošnike spodbujal k sprejemanju utemeljenih odločitev, vsebuje sistem razvrščanja na podlagi intenzivnosti uporabe, ki kaže, kje bi se netekstilne talne obloge lahko zadovoljivo uporabljale. Izraz »linolej« se velikokrat napačno uporablja za različne talne obloge, pogosto za talne obloge na osnovi polivinilklorida ali gume. Taki materiali niso vključeni v ta dokument.

The text of ISO 24011:2009 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 219 “Floor coverings” of the
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO 24011:2012 by
Technical Committee CEN/TC 134 “Resilient, textile and laminate floor coverings” the secretariat of which is
held by BSI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2012, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at
the latest by August 2012.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 548:2011.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
