Artificial climbing structures - Protection points, stability requirements and test methods
This standard specifies the requirements and tests relating only to the protection and the stability for artificial climbing structures (hereafter referred to as ACS). This standard does not apply to the surrounding area. This standard is applicable when an ACS is in normal use and relates especially to the techniques and protection methods used during progress on the structure. This standard is not applicable to playground equipment.

Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren ausschließlich für die Sicherungspunkte und die Stabilität von künstlichen Kletteranlagen fest (im nachfolgenden KKA genannt). Diese Norm gilt nicht für die Umgebung der Kletteranlage. Diese Norm gilt für den üblichen Gebrauch der KKA und behandelt insbesondere die während des Aufstiegs an der Kletteranlage angewendeten Techniken und Sicherungsmethoden. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Spielplatzgeräte.

La présente norme européenne prescrit les exigences et méthodes d'essai relatives seulement aux points d'assurages et à la stabilité des structures artificielles d'escalade (ci-après appelées "SAE"); cette présente norme ne s'applique pas à l'environnement de la SAE. Ces dispositions sont applicables dans le cadre d'une utilisation normale d'une SAE et traitent essentiellement des techniques et des méthodes d'assurage utilisées pour progresser sur les SAE. La présente norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux équipements d'aires de jeux.
