Sports and recreational facilities - Trampoline parks - Safety requirements (ISO 23659:2022)

This document specifies safety requirements for the design, construction, inspection and maintenance of trampoline parks and their components.
This document also specifies minimum operational requirements to ensure an appropriate level of safety and service when used for recreational, training or educational purposes.
This document is applicable to trampoline parks and trampoline park areas within multi activity parks. This also includes landing areas such as airbags and foam pits.
This document is intended for use by trampoline park manufacturers, installers, operators, inspectors and enforcement bodies.
This document does not cover:
a) general building regulations;
b) fire regulations;
c) planning regulations;
d) water testing;
e) food and drink provision;
f) non-trampoline activities e.g. artificial climbing, parkour, obstacle courses and miscellaneous future activities;
g) chemical composition of components;
h) outdoor trampoline parks;
i) equipment and procedures covered by the referenced documents listed in Clause2;
j) general aspects of work safety.

Dieses Dokument legt Sicherheitsanforderungen für die Konstruktion, den Aufbau, die Prüfung und Instandhaltung von Trampolinparks und deren Bestandteilen fest.
Dieses Dokument legt zudem Mindestbetriebsanforderungen fest, um ein angemessenes Sicherheits  und Wartungsniveau bei Verwendung für Freizeit , Schulungs  oder Bildungszwecke sicherzustellen.
Dieses Dokument ist anzuwenden für Trampolinparks und Trampolinparkbereiche innerhalb von Multi Aktivitäten Parks. Dies schließt auch Landeflächen wie z. B. Airbags und Schnitzelgruben ein.
Dieses Dokument ist für die Verwendung durch Hersteller, Monteure, Betreiber, Prüfer von Trampolinparks sowie Durchsetzungsstellen vorgesehen.
In diesem Dokument nicht behandelt werden:
a)   allgemeine Bauvorschriften;
b)   Brandschutzbestimmungen;
c)   Planungsvorschriften;
d)   Wasseruntersuchungen;
e)   Bereitstellung von Speisen und Getränken;
f)   nicht trampolinbezogene Aktivitäten wie z. B. Aktivitäten an künstlichen Kletteranlagen, Parkour-einrichtungen, Hindernisstrecken und sonstige zukünftige Aktivitäten;
g)   chemische Zusammensetzung von Bauteilen;
h)   Trampolinparks im Außenbereich;
i)   Geräte und Verfahren, die in den in Abschnitt 2 aufgeführten Dokumenten enthalten sind;
j)   allgemeine Aspekte der Arbeitssicherheit.

Le présent document spécifie les exigences de sécurité pour la conception, la construction, le contrôle et la maintenance des parcs de trampolines et de leurs composants.
Le présent document précise également les exigences de fonctionnement minimales afin d'assurer un niveau de sécurité et de service approprié à des fins de loisirs, de formation ou d'éducation.
Le présent document s'applique aux parcs de trampolines et aux aires de trampolines au sein de parcs multi-activités. Il concerne également les zones d'atterrissage telles que les airbags et les fosses à mousse.
Le présent document est destiné aux fabricants, aux installateurs, aux exploitants, aux inspecteurs et aux organismes d'inspections de contrôle des parcs de trampolines.
Le présent document ne couvre pas:
a) les réglementations générales en matière de construction;
b) les réglementations en matière d'incendie;
c) les réglementations en matière de planification;
d) l'analyse de l'eau;
e) la distribution de nourriture et de boissons;
f) les activités autres que le trampoline, par exemple l'escalade artificielle, le parkour, les courses d'obstacles et autres activités futures;
g) la composition chimique des composants;
h) les parcs de trampolines en plein air;
i) les équipements et procédures couverts par les documents de référence énumérés à l'Article 2;
j) les aspects généraux de la sécurité du travail.

Ta evropski standard se uporablja za trampolinske parke in njihove dele.
Ta evropski standard določa varnostne zahteve za načrtovanje, izdelavo, nadzor in vzdrževanje trampolinskih parkov in njihovih delov.
Ta evropski standard določa tudi minimalne zahteve glede delovanja, da se zagotovi ustrezna raven varnosti in storitve pri uporabi za rekreacijske, vadbene, vzgojne ali terapevtske namene.
Ta evropski standard se ne uporablja za:
– trampoline, opredeljene kot gimnastična oprema v skladu s standardom EN 13219:2001;
– trampoline za domačo uporabo v skladu s standardom EN 7114:2014+A1:2017; in
– otroška igrišča (glej standard EN 1176 vsi deli).

This document (EN ISO 23659:2022) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 83 "Sports and
other recreational facilities and equipment" in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 136
“Sports, playground and other recreational facilities and equipment” the secretariat of which is held by
DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2023, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2023.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
