Testing fresh concrete - Part 2: Slump test
This document specifies a method for determining the consistence of fresh concrete by the slump test.
The slump test is sensitive to changes in the consistence of concrete, which correspond to slumps between 10 mm and 210 mm. Beyond these extremes the measurement of slump can be unsuitable and other methods of determining the consistency should be considered.
If the slump continues to change over a period of 1 min after withdrawing of the cone, the slump test is not suitable as a measure of consistence.
The test is not suitable when the declared value of D of the coarsest fraction of aggregates actually used in the concrete (Dmax) is greater than 40 mm.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Konsistenz von Frischbeton durch den Setzversuch fest.
Der Setzversuch ist geeignet für Änderungen der Konsistenz von Beton, die einem Setzmaß zwischen 10 mm und 210 mm entsprechen. Über diese Werte hinaus kann die Messung des Setzmaßes ungeeignet sein, und es sollten andere Verfahren für die Bestimmung der Konsistenz angewendet werden.
Wenn sich das Setzmaß innerhalb von 1 min nach dem Entfernen der Kegelform weiter ändert, ist diese Prüfung für die Konsistenzbestimmung nicht geeignet.
Die Prüfung ist nicht anwendbar, wenn der deklarierte Wert D des Größtkorns der tatsächlich im Beton verwendeten Gesteinskörnungen (Dmax) größer als 40 mm ist.

Le présent document spécifie une méthode de détermination de la consistance du béton frais par l’essai d’affaissement.
L’essai d’affaissement est sensible aux modifications de la consistance du béton correspondant à des affaissements compris entre 10 mm et 210 mm. En dehors de ces limites, la mesure de l’affaissement peut être inadaptée et il convient d’envisager d’autres méthodes de détermination de la consistance.
Si l’affaissement évolue au-delà de la minute suivant l’enlèvement du cône, l’essai d’affaissement n’est pas adapté à la mesure de la consistance.
L’essai n’est pas adapté lorsque la valeur déclarée de D pour les plus gros granulats effectivement utilisés dans le béton (Dmax) est supérieure à 40 mm.

Ta evropski standard določa metodo za določanje konsistence svežega betona s
preskusom s posedom stožca.
Preskus s posedom stožca je občutljiv na spremembe v konsistenci betona, kar ustreza posedom
od 10 mm do 210 mm. Zunaj teh skrajnih vrednosti je lahko merjenje poseda stožca neustrezno in
je priporočljivo razmisliti o drugih metodah za določanje konsistence.
Če se posed še naprej spreminja po 1 minuti od odstranitve stožca, preskus s posedom stožca
ni primeren za merjenje konsistence.
Preskus ni primeren, kadar je deklarirana vrednost D najbolj grobega agregata, ki je dejansko uporabljen
v betonu (Dmax), večja od 40 mm.
