Protective gloves for professional motorcycle riders - Requirements and test methods

This European Standard applies to protective professional motorcycle riders gloves for use while riding motorcycles for on-road activities. It specifies the requirements for the sizing, ergonomic characteristics, mechanical properties, cleaning, marking and information for users. It also describes the appropriate test methods whereby conformity against these requirements can be assessed.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Schutzhandschuhe für professionelle Motorradfahrer, die diese Handschuhe beim Motorradfahren auf Straßen tragen. Sie legt die Anforderungen an Größen, ergonomische Merkmale, mechanische Eigenschaften, Reinigung, Kennzeichnung und Anwenderinformationen fest. Sie beschreibt außerdem geeignete Prüfverfahren, mit deren Hilfe die Erfüllung dieser Anforderungen bewertet werden kann.

La présente Norme européenne s'applique aux gants de protection destinés aux motocyclistes professionnels qui les utilisent pour conduire une moto sur route. Elle spécifie les exigences en matière de taille, de caractéristiques ergonomiques, de propriétés mécaniques, de nettoyage, de marquage et d'informations aux utilisateurs. Elle décrit également les méthodes d'essai appropriées par lesquelles la conformité à ces exigences peut être évaluée.
