ISO 6848:2015 specifies requirements for classification of nonconsumable tungsten electrodes for inert gas shielded arc welding, and for plasma welding, cutting and thermal spraying.
Information on conditions of use of these electrodes is given in Annex A (informative).

Diese Internationale Norm legt die Anforderungen für die Einteilung von Wolframelektroden zum Wolfram-Inertgasschweißen und zum Plasmaschweißen und -schneiden sowie thermischen Spritzen fest.
Informationen über die Nutzungsbedingungen dieser Elektroden sind im Anhang A (informativ) enthalten.

ISO 6848:2015 spécifie les exigences relatives à la classification des électrodes non consommables en tungstène pour le soudage l'arc sous protection de gaz inerte, ainsi que pour le soudage, le coupage et la projection thermique au plasma.

Ta mednarodni standard določa zahteve za razvrstitev netaljivih volframovih elektrod za obločno varjenje s ščitom iz inertnega plina ter za varjenje s plazmo, rezanje in vroče brizganje. Informacije o pogojih uporabe teh elektrod so navedene v Dodatku A (informativni).

This document (EN ISO 6848:2015) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 “Welding
and allied processes” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding and allied
processes” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2016, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by March 2016.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent
rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 6848:2004.
This document has been prepared under a mandate given to CEN by the European Commission and the
European Free Trade Association, and supports essential requirements of EU Directive(s).

Dieser Europäische Norm-Entwurf wird den CEN-Mitgliedern zur parallelen Umfrage vorgelegt. Er wurde vom Technischen Komitee
CEN/TC 121 erstellt.
Wenn aus diesem Norm-Entwurf eine Europäische Norm wird, sind die CEN-Mitglieder gehalten, die CEN-Geschäftsordnung zu erfüllen, in
der die Bedingungen festgelegt sind, unter denen dieser Europäischen Norm ohne jede Änderung der Status einer nationalen Norm zu
