CEN/TC 121/WG 3 - Welding consumables

CEN/TC 121/WG 3 is a Working Group within the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). It is named "Welding consumables" and is responsible for: Specifications for consumables for fusion welding e.g. welding with covered electrodes, submerged arc welding and gas shielded arc welding of carbon and carbon manganese steels, low alloy steels, high tensile steels, creep resisting steels, stainless steels and non-ferrous metals. Technical requirements for inspection and delivery. Testing of consumables. Fluxes. Gases for welding and cutting. Procedures for testing for certification and authorization (approval) of consumables. This committee has published 140 standards.
