This EN specifies the characteristics and performance requirements for the physical and mechanical properties of aggregate concrete masonry units made from dense aggregate, lightweight aggregate or a combination of both. Units conforming to this Part of this EN are used exposed or non-exposed in common or facing masonry in building or civil engineering works.
Festlegungen für Mauersteine - Teil 3: Mauersteine aus Beton (mit dichten und porigen Zuschlägen)
Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt die Eigenschaften und Leistungsanforderungen für Mauersteine aus Beton mit dichten und/oder porigen Zuschlägen, die vorwiegend in tragendem oder nichttragendem Mauerwerk einschließlich üblichen Mauerwerks, Verblendmauerwerk oder Sichtmauerwerk in Bauwerken des Hoch- oder Tiefbaus verwendet werden. Die hierin beschriebenen Mauersteine eignen sich für alle Arten von Mauerwerk einschließlich einschaligen Mauerwerks, des Außenmauerwerks von Schornsteinen, zweischaligen Mauerwerks, Trennwänden, Stützmauern und Untergeschossen. Sie dienen dem Brand-, Wärme-, Schallschutz sowie der Schallabsorption.
Diese Europäische Norm gilt ebenfalls für Mauersteine aus Beton mit einer nicht allseitig von Rechtecken begrenzten Form einschließlich Form- und Ergänzungssteinen.
Diese Norm beschreibt die Anforderungen, z.B. an Festigkeit, Rohdichte, Maßgenauigkeit. Ferner werden die Konformitätsbewertung und die Kennzeichnung der von dieser Europäischen Norm erfassten Produkte festgelegt.
Diese Europäische Norm legt keine genormten Größen für Mauersteine aus Beton fest. Sie enthält auch keine Sollmaße oder Winkel für Formsteine aus Beton. Sie gilt nicht für geschosshohe Tafeln, Steine für die Auskleidung von Rauchabzügen oder für Steine zur Herstellung von feuchtesperrenden Schichten. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Steine mit einem Wärmedämmstoff, der auf die Seiten des Steins, die Feuer ausgesetzt sein können, aufgebracht ist.

Cette Norme européenne spécifie les caractéristiques et les exigences de performances des blocs en béton de granulats fabriqués à partir de granulats courants et légers ou une combinaison des deux, utilisés, exposés ou non, en maçonnerie courante ou de parement, porteuse ou non, dans des bâtiments ou des ouvrages de génie civil. Les blocs conviennent pour toutes les formes de murs, y compris les murs à simple ou double paroi, les conduits extérieurs de fumée, les cloisons, les murs de soutènement et de soubassement. Ils peuvent constituer une protection contre les incendies, une isolation thermique et acoustique et constituer une absorption acoustique.
Cette Norme européenne concerne également les éléments de maçonnerie en béton n'ayant pas une forme générale de parallélépipède rectangle, notamment sur les éléments de forme particulière et les accessoires.
Elle définit d'une part les performances relatives par exemple à la résistance, la masse volumique et les tolérances dimensionnelles et permet d'autre part d'évaluer la conformité du produit par rapport à cette Norme européenne. Elle inclut également les exigences de marquage des produits qui y sont traités.
Cette Norme européenne ne spécifie pas les formats standard des blocs en béton de granulats, les dimensions de fabrication courantes, ni les caractéristiques angulaires des blocs en béton de granulats de forme particulière. Elle ne couvre pas les panneaux hauteur d'étage, les conduits intérieurs de fumée ni les blocs destinés à servir d'assise anti-humidité. Elle ne couvre pas les blocs comportant un isolant thermique rapporté sur les faces susceptibles d'être exposées au feu.
