High-pressure decorative laminates (HPL) - Sheets based on thermosetting resins (Usually called Laminates) - Part 9: Classification and specifications for alternative core laminates

This European Standard specifies performance requirements for high-pressure decorative laminates (HPL) intended for interior use, the core compositions of which are not covered by EN 438-3 [1] to EN 438-6 [4] and EN 438-8 [5]. The core composition types (coloured core and metal reinforced core) are defined in this part of EN 438.
EN 438-2 specifies the test methods relevant to this part of EN 438.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Leistungsanforderungen an dekorative Hochdruck-Schichtpressstoffplatten
(HPL) für Anwendungen im Innenbereich fest, deren Kernaufbau in EN 438-3 [1] bis EN 438-6 [4] sowie in
EN 438-8 [5] nicht behandelt wird. In diesem Teil der EN 438 wird der Kernaufbau (farbiger Kernaufbau und
metallverstärkter Kernaufbau) festgelegt.
In EN 438-2 sind die Prüfverfahren festgelegt, die für diesen Teil der EN 438 von Bedeutung sind.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les exigences de performance s’appliquant aux stratifiés décoratifs haute pression (HPL) pour usage en intérieur et dont la composition de l'âme ne relève pas des normes EN 438 3 [1] à EN 438 6 [4] et EN 438 8 [5]. Les types de composition de l'âme (âme colorée et âme à renfort métallique) sont définis dans la présente partie de l'EN 438.
L’EN 438 2 spécifie les méthodes d’essai correspondant à la présente partie de l’EN 438.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za zmogljivost za dekorativne visokotlačne laminate (HPL), namenjene za notranjo uporabo, katerih sestave jedra ne zajemajo standardi od EN 438-3 [1] do EN 438-6 [4] in EN 438-8 [5]. Vrste sestave jedra (obarvano jedro in s kovino ojačano jedro) so opredeljene v tem delu EN 438. EN 438-2 določa preskusne metode, ki se nanašajo na ta del EN 438.
