Plastics - Decorative solid surfacing materials - Part 3: Determination of properties - Solid surface shapes (ISO 19712-3:2022)

This document specifies the methods of test for determination of the properties of solid surfacing materials, as defined in Clause 3, in the form of shaped products. These methods are primarily intended for testing the materials specified in ISO 19712-1.
The tests can be carried out on finished products, but are generally carried out on test panels of a size sufficient to meet the requirements of the test, and of the same material and finish as the finished product.

Dieses Dokument legt die Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von Mineralwerkstoffen fest, die wie in Abschnitt 3 definiert geformte Produkte sind. Diese Verfahren sind hauptsächlich zur Prüfung der in ISO 19712 1 festgelegten Werkstoffe vorgesehen.
Die Prüfungen können an fertigen Erzeugnissen durchgeführt werden, werden jedoch im Allgemeinen an Prüfplatten vorgenommen, deren Größe ausreichend ist, um die Prüfanforderungen zu erfüllen, und die aus dem gleichen Material bestehen und die gleiche Oberflächenbeschaffenheit aufweisen wie die fertigen Erzeugnisse.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes d'essai pour la détermination des propriétés des matériaux massifs de revêtement de surface sous forme de produits formés, tels que définis à l'Article 3. Ces méthodes sont principalement destinées à la réalisation des essais sur les matériaux spécifiés dans l'ISO 19712‑1.
Les essais peuvent être effectués sur des produits finis, mais ils sont généralement effectués sur des panneaux d'essai de taille suffisante pour répondre aux exigences de l'essai et réalisés à partir du même matériau et de la même finition que le produit fini.

Te metode so primarno namenjene preskušanju materialov, določenih v standardu ISO 19712-1. Preskuse je mogoče izvajati na končnih izdelkih, vendar se običajno izvajajo na preskusnih ploščah v taki velikosti, da izpolnjujejo zahteve preskusa, ter so iz istega materiala in končne obdelave kot končni izdelek.

This document (EN ISO 19712-3:2022) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 61 "Plastics"
in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 249 “Plastics” the secretariat of which is held by
NBN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by October 2022, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by October 2022.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN ISO 19712-3:2013.
