Welding consumables - Test methods - Part 2: Preparation of single-run and two-run technique test specimens in steel (ISO 15792-2:2000)

This standard specifies preparation of butt weld test assembly and specimens. The purpose is to define the test methods in order to determine strength and impact strength of the welded joint when testing welding consumables used for submerged arc welding and tubular cored arc welding with single-run and two-run technique. This standard is applicable to welding consumables for arc welding of steel.

Schweißzusätze - Prüfverfahren - Teil 2: Vorbereitung eines Prüfstücks zur Prüfung von Einlagen- und Lage/Gegenlage-Schweißungen an Stahl (ISO 15792-2:2000)

Dieser Teil von ISO 15792 legt die Herstellung der Prüfstücke für Stumpfnähte und der Proben fest. Der
Zweck ist, Prüfmethoden zur Bestimmung von Festigkeit und Kerbschlagarbeit der Schweißverbindung festzulegen,
wenn Schweißzusätze in der Einlagen- und Lage/Gegenlage-Technik geprüft werden. Die Norm gilt
nicht für Elektroschlacke- oder Elektrogasschweißen.
Dieser Teil von ISO 15792 gilt für Schweißzusätze für das Lichtbogenschweißen von Stahl.

The text of ISO 15792-2:2000 has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 “Welding and allied
processes” of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and has been taken over as EN ISO
15792-2:2008 by Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical
text or by endorsement, at the latest by November 2008, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn
at the latest by November 2008.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent
rights. CEN [and/or CENELEC] shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
