Ships and marine technology - Marine echo-sounding equipment (ISO 9875:2000/Cor 1:2006)

This Standard specifies the performance and type testing of marine echo-sounding equipment required by Regulation 12 of Chapter V of the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 (SOLAS 1974) as amended. It establishes, when used in conjunction with IEC 60945, minimum performance requirements, test methods and required test results for marine echo-sounding equipment which measures the depth of water under a ship by transmitting pulsed acoustic energy and timing the return of the echo from the sea-bed.

Ta standard opredeljuje delovanje in tipsko preskušanje globinomerov/opreme za merjenje globine, ki ga zahteva Uredba 12 V. poglavja Mednarodne konvencije o varstvu človeškega življenja na morju, 1974 (SOLAS 1974) z vsemi spremembami. Vzpostavlja, kadar se uporablja skupaj z IEC 60945, minimalne zahteve za zmogljivost, preskusne metode in zahtevane preskusne rezultate za globinomere, ki merijo globino vode pod ladjo z oddajanjem pulzne akustične energije in merjenjem časa, da se odmev vrne z morskega dna.
