This standard specifies the required characteristics, inspection and test methods, qualification and acceptance conditions for rod ends with self-aligning self-lubricating bearings designed to withstand (under load) slight swivelling and slow rotations only.

Diese Norm legt die Anforderungen, Prüfverfahren, Qualifikations- und Annahmebedingungen für Ösenköpfe mit Gelenklager mit selbstschmierender Beschichtung fest, die so ausgelegt sind, daß sie (unter Belastung) nur langsamer Drehbewegungen und geringen Kippbewegungen standhalten. Sie ist anzuwenden, wenn auf sie Bezug genommen wird.
