This standard describes a procedure for the determination of the particle size distribution of the aggregate of bituminous mixtures by sieving. This test can be carried out on the aggregate which is recovered after the binder extracting procedure according to prEN 12697-1.
Asphalt - Prüfverfahren für Heißasphalt - Teil 2 : Korngrößenverteilung
Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung der Korngrößenverteilung der Gesteinskörnungen in Asphalt mittels Siebanalyse. Die Prüfung ist für Gesteinskörnungen, die nach Extraktion des Bindemittels nach EN 12697-1 zurückgewonnen wurden, anwendbar.
Die Anwendbarkeit dieser Europäischen Norm ist in den Produktnormen für Asphalt beschrieben.
ANMERKUNG Fasern, feste Zusatzstoffe (die bei der Extraktion nicht in Lösung gehen) und (einige) Modifizerungsmittel für Bindemittel beeinflussen das Prüfergebnis.

La présente norme spécifie une méthode de détermination de la granularité des granulats des matériaux enrobés, par tamisage. L'essai peut être effectué sur les granulats récupérés après réalisation de la méthode d'extraction du liant selon l'EN 12697-1.
L'applicabilité de la présente Norme européenne est décrite dans les normes de produits pour matériaux enrobés.
NOTE La présence de fibres ou d'additifs solides (non solubles après extraction) et (certains) modifiants du liant ont une influence sur le résultat d'essai.
