EN 61029-2-5:2011/A11:2015 is a CENELEC amendment to the European standard covering safety of transportable motor‑operated electric tools - Part 2‑5: particular requirements for band saws. Approved to align EN 61029‑2‑5:2011 with the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, this amendment updates definitions, marking and user information, stability and mechanical hazard requirements, and related informative annexes. It was prepared by CLC/TC 116 and adopted by national committees for implementation across Europe.

  • Table tilt: table may be inclinable perpendicular to the feed direction by not more than 45°.

This amendment A11 modifies the European Standard EN 61029-2-5:2011; it was approved by CENELEC on 2014-12-01. CENELEC

status of a national standard without any alteration.
