Digital addressable lighting interface - Part 221: Particular requirements for control gear - Demand Response (device type 20)
IEC 62386-221:2018 specifies the methodology of demand response which focuses on the curtailment of electric loads during peak demand times thus avoiding the requirement to find new sources of generation capacity. By using load shedding, the lighting system responds to the demands of the energy supply. This document is applicable to control gear supporting the demand response functionality.

À l’aide du délestage, le système d’éclairage répond aux demandes de l’alimentation en énergie. Le présent document s’applique aux appareillages de commande prenant en charge la fonctionnalité de réaction à la demande.

as EN IEC 62386-221:2018.

• latest date by which the document has to be implemented at national (dop) 2019-04-23
level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the (dow) 2021-07-23
document have to be withdrawn
