Fibre optic active components and devices - Performance standards - Part 10: Radio-over-fibre (RoF) transceivers for mobile fronthaul
This part of IEC 62149 covers the performance specification for radio-over-fibre (RoF) transceivers used for mobile fronthaul systems. The performance standard contains a definition of the product performance requirements together with a series of tests and measurements with clearly defined conditions, severities, and pass/fail criteria. The tests are intended to be run on a one-off basis to prove any product's ability to satisfy the performance standard's requirements. A product that has been shown to meet all the requirements of a performance standard canbe declared to be in compliance with the performance standard.

IEC 62149-10:2018 couvre la spécification de performance des émetteurs-récepteurs radio sur fibre (RoF) utilisés dans les réseaux fronthaul mobiles. La norme de performance contient une définition des exigences de performance du produit, accompagnée d'une série d'essais et de mesures comportant des conditions, des sévérités et des critères de conformité/non-conformité clairement définis. Les essais visant à attester de l'aptitude d'un produit à satisfaire aux exigences de la norme de performance sont destinés à être réalisés sur la base d'un essai unique. Un produit dont il a été démontré qu'il satisfait à toutes les exigences d'une norme de performance peut être déclaré comme étant conforme à celle-ci. Ta del standarda IEC 62149 zajema tehnično specifikacijo za sprejemnike/oddajnike za prenos radijskih signalov po optičnih kablih (RoF), ki se uporabljajo v sistemih mobilnega radijskega omrežja. Tehnični standard vsebuje opredelitev zahtev glede zmogljivosti za izdelek skupaj z naborom preskusov in meritev z jasno določenimi pogoji, stopnjami zahtevnosti in merili za uspešno/neuspešno opravljen preskus. Preskusi so namenjeni enkratnemu izvajanju, z njimi pa se dokaže, ali lahko izdelek izpolnjuje zahteve tehničnega standarda.
Izdelek, ki dokazano izpolnjuje vse zahteve tehničnega standarda, je mogoče šteti za skladnega s tehničnim standardom.

The text of document 86C/1501/CDV, future edition 1 of IEC 62149-10, prepared by SC 86C "Fibre
optic systems and active devices" of IEC/TC 86 "Fibre optics" was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC
parallel vote and approved by CENELEC as EN IEC 62149-10:2018.
The following dates are fixed:
• latest date by which the document has to be implemented at national (dop) 2019-09-12
level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the (dow) 2021-12-12
document have to be withdrawn
