Insulating materials - Industrial rigid laminated sheets based on thermosetting resins for electrical purposes - Part 3-2: Specifications for individual materials - Requirements for rigid laminated sheets based on epoxy resins

Gives the requirements for industrial rigid laminated sheets for electrical purposes based on epoxy resins and different reinforcements. Applications and distinguishing properties are given. Materials which conform to this specification meet established levels of performance. However, the selection of a material by a user for a specific application should be based on the actual requirements necessary for adequate performance in that application and not based on this specification alone. In this revision of the IEC 60893 series of specifications, new material types have been included, changes have been made to the property requirements of some existing types, a new method for testing permittivity and dissipation factor has been added, and all non-specification data for each type has been moved to a new Part 4 document - IEC 60893-4 - Typical values.

Izolacijski materiali - Industrijske toge laminirane plošče iz smol s toplotnim utrjevanjem za električne namene - 3-2. del: Specifikacije za posamezne materiale - Zahteve za toge laminirane plošče na osnovi epoksidnih smol

Podaja zahteve za industrijske toge laminirane plošče na podlagi epoksidnih smol z različnimi ojačitvami za električne namene. Navedene so uporabe in razločevalne lastnosti. Materiali, skladni s to specifikacijo, ustrezajo vzpostavljenim ravnem delovanja. Vendar mora uporabnik material za določeno uporabo izbrati na podlagi dejanskih zahtev za ustrezno delovanje pri taki uporabi, ne le na podlagi same specifikacije. V tej reviziji serije specifikacij IEC 60893 so vključene nove vrste materialov, spremenjene so zahteve glede lastnosti nekaterih obstoječih vrst, dodana je nova metoda za preskušanje dielektričnosti in faktorja izgube, vsi nespecifikacijski podatki za vsako vrsto so bili prestavljeni v novi dokument, 4. del - IEC 60893-4; Značilne vrednosti.

This amendment A1 modifies the European Standard EN 60893-3-2:2004; it was approved by CENELEC on
2011-07-01. CENELEC members are bound to comply with the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations which
stipulate the conditions for giving this amendment the status of a national standard without any alteration.

Up-to-date lists and bibliographical references concerning such national standards may be obtained on
application to the Central Secretariat or to any CENELEC member.

This amendment exists in three official versions (English, French, German). A version in any other language
made by translation under the responsibility of a CENELEC member into its own language and notified to the
Central Secretariat has the same status as the official versions.

The text of document 15/505/CDV, future amendment 1 to IEC 60893-3-2:2003, prepared by IEC TC 15,
Solid electrical insulating materials, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved
by CENELEC as amendment A1 to EN 60893-3-2:2004 on 2011-07-01.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN and CENELEC shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent
rights.
