This part of IEC 60966 is a detail specification that applies to cable assemblies with F-Quick connectors (see IEC 61169-47) and requires quad-shield screening class A++ (see IEC 61196-6-5). This detail specification applies to the cable assemblies for radio and TV receivers.

wires, waveguides, RF connectors, RF and microwave passive components and accessories" was
submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and approved by CENELEC as EN IEC 60966-2-8:2022.
The following dates are fixed:
• latest date by which the document has to be implemented at national (dop) 2023-04-22
level by publication of an identical national standard or by endorsement
• latest date by which the national standards conflicting with the (dow) 2025-07-22
document have to be withdrawn
