Household and similar electrical appliances - Safety - Part 2-110: Particular requirements for commercial microwave appliances with insertion or contacting applicators
IEC 60335-2-110:2013 deals with the safety of microwave appliances intended for commercial use, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single-phase appliances connected between one phase and neutral and 480 V for other appliances. Appliances covered by this standard incorporate an open-ended applicator (as example an overview is given in Figure 103) for treatment of the load. They are divided into three types: - with insertion applicator, typically for moisture removal by insertion into holes in floors, walls or ceilings (an example is given in Figure 106); - with large area contacting applicator, typically for drying of floors, walls or ceilings (examples are given in Figure 104 and Figure 105); - with small area contacting applicator, typically for paint removal and spot-heating (an example is given in Figure 107). Key words: commercial microwave appliance, insertion applicator, contacting applicator
To točko 1. dela nadomešča naslednje besedilo.
• pomanjkanja izkušenj in znanja ne morejo varno uporabljati aparata brez nadzora ali navodil;
Razdeljeni so v tri vrste:
– z vstavljivim nastavkom, običajno za odstranjevanje vlage, ki se vstavi v odprtine v tleh, stenah ali stropu (primer je podan na sliki 106);
– s kontaktnim nastavkom za velike površine, običajno za sušenje tal, sten ali stropov (primera sta podana na slikah 104 in 105);
OPOMBA 101: Aparati z vstavljivim nastavkom in s kontaktnim nastavkom za velike površine so prenosni
aparati.
– lahko ti aparati sevajo mikrovalovno energijo zunaj območja z omejitvami, v katerem se uporabljajo. Nacionalni organi, odgovorni za zaščito pred neionizirajočim sevanjem, so določili dodatne zahteve, da je treba v tem standardu upoštevati omejitev gostote pretoka moči 10 W/m2, povprečene v katerem koli časovnem obdobju 6 minut, zunaj tega območja z omejitvami;
– so ti aparati namenjeni izključno za obdelavo tovora pri običajnem delovanju, zato se ta standard ne uporablja za aparate ali sisteme, ki uporabljajo širjenje mikrovalov v odprtem prostoru;
– so za aparate, ki so namenjeni za uporabo v tropskih državah, morda potrebne posebne zahteve;
– v številnih državah nacionalni zdravstveni organi in nacionalni organi, odgovorni za varstvo pri delu in zaščito pred neionizirajočim sevanjem, določajo dodatne zahteve.
OPOMBA 104: Ta standard se ne uporablja za:
– mikrovalovne pečice za gospodinjsko uporabo, vključno s kombiniranimi mikrovalovnimi pečicami (IEC 60335-2-25);
– mikrovalovne pečice za komercialno uporabo z zastekljenimi vrati, kombinirane mikrovalovne pečice za komercialno uporabo z zastekljenimi vrati in mikrovalovne pečice za komercialno uporabo brez zastekljenih vrat in z mehanizmom za pomikanje izdelkov (IEC 60335-2-90);
– industrijsko opremo za mikrovalovno ogrevanje (IEC 60519-6);
– aparate za medicinske namene (IEC 60601-1);
– aparate in opremo za laboratorijsko uporabo (skupina standardov IEC 61010);

FOREWORD
1) The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising
all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote
international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To
this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications,
Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC
Publication(s)”). Their preparation is entrusted to technical committees; any IEC National Committee interested
in the subject dealt with may participate in this preparatory work. International, governmental and non-
governmental organizations liaising with the IEC also participate in this preparation. IEC collaborates closely
with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in accordance with conditions determined by
agreement between the two organizations.
2) The formal decisions or agreements of IEC on technical matters express, as nearly as possible, an international
consensus of opinion on the relevant subjects since each technical committee has representation from all
interested IEC National Committees.
3) IEC Publications have the form of recommendations for international use and are accepted by IEC National
Committees in that sense. While all reasonable effor
