The purpose of this amendment is to require an additional test waveform to ensure immunity against severe
current transients.
1 Modifications to Clause 1, “Scope”
Replace NOTE 2 with the following:

NOTE 2 For AC electricity meters, the voltage mentioned above is the line-to-neutral voltage derived from nominal
voltages. See EN IEC 62052-31:2024, Table 7. EN IEC 62052-31:2024 covers AC voltages up to 1000 V.“
