Fibre optic active components and devices - Package and interface standards - Part 2: SFF 10-pin transceivers

IEC 62148-2:2010 covers the physical interface specifications for the SFF MT-RJ/LC/MU duplex 10-pin fibre optic transceiver module family. This standard should be read in conjunction with IEC 62148-1. With respect to the previous edition, this edition includes 10-pin SFF-LC, and SFF MU devices. It also cancels and replaces the first edition of IEC 62148-7 and the first edition of IEC 62148-9.

La CEI 62148-2:2010 couvre les spécifications de l'interface physique pour la famille des modules d'émetteurs-récepteurs à fibres optiques SFF MT-RJ/LC/MU duplex à 10 broches. La présente norme doit être lue conjointement à la CEI 62148-1. Par rapport à l'édition précédente, la présente édition intègre les dispositifs SFF-LC et SFF MU à 10 broches. Elle annule et remplace également la première édition de la CEI 62148-7 et et la première édition de la CEI 62148-9.

Ta del IEC 62148 zajema specifikacije za fizične vmesnike za SFF MT-RJ/LC/MU dupleksne 10-kontaktne družine oddajniških in sprejemniških modulov optičnih vlaken. Namen tega standarda je primerno opredeliti fizične zahteve za optični oddajnik-sprejemnik, ki omogočajo mehansko zamenljivost oddajnikov-sprejemnikov v skladu s tem standardom na plošči tiskanega vezja in za druge zahteve nameščanja plošč.

The text of document 86C/975/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 62148-2, prepared by SC 86C, Fibre optic
systems and active devices, of IEC TC 86, Fibre optics, was submitted to the IEC-CENELEC parallel vote
and was approved by CENELEC as EN 62148-2 on 2011-01-10.
This European Standard supersedes EN 62148-2:2003, EN 62148-7:2003 and EN 62148-9:2003.
With respect to EN 62148-2:2003, this EN 62148-2:2011 includes 10-pin SFF-LC, and SFF MU devices.
This standard should be read in conjunction with EN 62148-1.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN and CENELEC shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent
rights.
