MISCELLANEOUS LAMPS
Section 1: General
1.1 Scope
This International Standard specifies lamps or information relevant to lamps not covered

elsewhere in the scope of existing IEC standards.

1.2  Normative reference
The following normative document contains provisions which, through reference in this text,
constitute provisions of this International Standard. At the time of publication, the edition
indicated was valid. All normative documents are subject to revision, and parties to agreements
based on this International Standard are encouraged to investigate the possibility of applying
the most recent edition of the normative document indicated below. Members of IEC and ISO
maintain registers of currently valid International Standards.
IEC 432-1: 1993, Safety specifications for incandescent lamps - Part 1: Tungsten filament
lamps for domestic and similar general lighting purposes.
1.3  Definitions
For the purposes of this International Standard, the following definition applies.
1.3.1 tungsten filament ELV lamp (extra low voltage): Lamp with a rated voltage lower
than 50 V.
Section 2: Requirements
2.1  General
Lamps shall be so designed and constructed that, in normal use, they present no danger to the
user or surroundings.
2.2  Marking
2.2.1 Marking of tungsten filament ELV lamps with cap E27 or B22d for domestic and
similar general lighting purposes
In addition to the requirements of clause 2.2 of IEC 432-1, the voltage value in the marking on
ELV lamps and on the immediate wrapping or container shall have a height of at least 5 mm.

Section 3: Feuilles de caractéristiques

3.1 Principes généraux de numérotation des feuilles de caractéristiques

Le premier nombre représente le numéro de la présente norme: 61549, il est suivi par les

lettres �IEC�.
Le deuxième nombre représente le numéro de la feuille de caractéristiques.

Le troisième nombre représente le numéro d’édition de la page de la feuille de

caractéristiques. Dans les cas où une feuille de caractéristiques est composée de plus d’une

page, il est possible que les pages portent un numéro d’édition diffé
...
