Amendment 1 to International Standard IS0 834-1975 was developed by Technical Committee ISO/TC 92, Fire tests on
materials, components and structures.
It was submitted directly to the IS0 Council, in accordance with clause 6.13.1 of the Directives for the technical work of
ISO.
Page 1 ; Insert the following text before clause 1 :
So that suitable precautions to safeguard health may be taken, the attention of all persons concerned in fire tests is drawn
to the possibility that toxic or harmful gases may be evolved in combustion of test elements.
