Metallic powders, excluding powders for hardmetals - Determination of dimensional changes associated with compacting and sintering (ISO 4492:2017)
This document specifies a method by which the dimensional changes associated with compacting and
sintering of metallic powders are compared with those of a reference powder when processed under
similar conditions (see Clause 4).
The method applies to the determination of three types of dimensional changes involved with the
processing of metallic powders, excluding powders for hardmetals.

Dieses Dokument legt ein Verfahren fest, bei dem die Maßänderungen beim Pressen und Sintern von Metallpulvern mit denjenigen eines Referenzpulvers verglichen werden, wenn dieses unter ähnlichen Bedingungen behandelt wird (siehe Abschnitt 4).
Das Verfahren gilt für die Bestimmung von drei Arten von Maßänderungen bei der Verarbeitung von Metallpulvern, mit Ausnahme von Hartmetallpulvern.

L'ISO 4492 spécifie une méthode par laquelle les changements dimensionnels liés à la compression et au frittage des poudres métalliques sont comparés à ceux d'une poudre de référence mise en ?uvre dans des conditions similaires (voir Article 4).
Cette méthode s'applique à la détermination de trois types de changements dimensionnels liés à la mise en ?uvre des poudres métalliques, à l'exclusion des poudres pour métaux-durs.

Ta dokument določa metodo, s katero se dimenzijske spremembe, povezane s stiskanjem in sintranjem kovinskih praškov, primerjajo z dimenzijskimi spremembami pri referenčnem prašku ob obdelavi pri primerljivih pogojih (glej točko 4).
Ta metoda se uporablja za ugotavljanje treh vrst dimenzijskih sprememb, ki so povezane z obdelavo kovinskih praškov, razen prahu iz trdih kovin.

This document (EN ISO 4492:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 119 “Powder
metallurgy”.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by May 2018, and conflicting national standards shall be
withdrawn at the latest by May 2018.
