Near Field Communication; Interface and Protocol (NFCIP-1) [ISO/IEC 18092 (2004) modified]

This European Standard (Telecommunications series) has been produced by ECMA on behalf of its members and those of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI). It specifies the interface and protocol for simple wireless communication between close coupled devices, and it refers the NFCIP-1 test method standards. These Near Field Communication (NFC) devices communicate with transfer rates of 106 kbps, 212 kbps and 424 kbps. The present document allows, but does not specify, applications in network products and consumer equipment. The present document endorses International Standard ISO/IEC 18092.
