Copper and copper alloys - Determination of spiral elongation number

This European Standard specifies a method for performing the spiral elongation test on high purity copper drawing stock conforming to EN 1977, grade Cu-ETP1 (CW003A). The method has been designed for testing high purity copper sampled at the drawing stock stage. It is not relevant for assessing the quality of copper wire selected at a later stage of processing.

Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen - Bestimmung der Spiralverlängerungszahl

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Durchführung der Spiralverlängerungsprüfung an Vordraht aus hochreinem Kupfer der Sorte Cu-ETP1 (CW003A) in Übereinstimmung mit EN 1977 fest. Das Verfahren ist zum Prüfen von hochreinem Kupfer entworfen worden, das dem Vordraht als Probe entnommen wird. Das Verfahren gilt nicht für die Beurteilung der Qualität von Drähten aus Kupfer, die aus einer nachfolgenden Bearbeitungsstufe entnommen wurden.

La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode pour réaliser l'essai de l'allongement par spirale sur du fil machine en cuivre de tres grande pureté, conformément a l'EN 1977, de qualité Cu-ETP1 (CW003A). La méthode a été conçue en vue de soumettre a l'essai des échantillons en cuivre de tres grande pureté prélevés au stade du fil machine. Il ne convient donc pas pour évaluer la qualité d'un fil de cuivre prélevé a un stade ultérieur de la production.
