Influence of metallic materials on water intended for human consumption - Dynamic rig test for assessment of metal release - Part 2: Test waters

This European Standard defines the requirements for test waters used in the dynamic test rig defined in prEN 15664-1.
This standard specifies test water(s) when the test procedure is used to:
a) assess a material for approval as a reference material for a category of materials;
b) assess a material for approval by way of comparative testing;
c) obtain data on the interaction of local water with a material.
NOTE Local waters used for test waters are not treated with corrosion inhibitors.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die Anforderungen an Prüfwässer fest, die im dynamischen Prüfstandversuch
nach EN 15664-1 verwendet werden.
Dieses Dokument legt Prüfwässer für die Fälle fest, in denen das Prüfverfahren für folgende Aufgabenstellungen
angewendet wird:
a) Beurteilung eines Werkstoffs zur Zulassung als Referenzwerkstoff für eine Werkstoffkategorie;
b) Beurteilung eines Werkstoffs zur Zulassung durch eine Vergleichsprüfung;
c) Erhalt von Daten bezüglich der Wechselwirkung des örtlichen Wassers mit einem Werkstoff.
ANMERKUNG Örtliche Wässer für die Verwendung in Prüfwässern werden nicht mit Korrosionsinhibitoren behandelt.

La présente Norme européenne définit les exigences relatives aux eaux d’essai utilisées dans le banc d’essai
dynamique défini dans l’EN 15664-1.
Le présent document spécifie une ou des eaux d’essai à utiliser dans un mode opératoire d’essai visant à :
a) évaluer un matériau en vue de son approbation comme matériau de référence pour une catégorie de
matériaux donnée ;
b) évaluer un matériau en vue de son approbation au moyen d’essais comparatifs ;
c) obtenir des données sur les interactions de l’eau locale avec un matériau.
NOTE Les eaux locales utilisées comme eaux d’essai ne sont pas traitées avec des inhibiteurs de corrosion.

Ta evropski standard določa zahteve za preskušanje vod, uporabljenih pri dinamičnem preskuševališču, določenem v EN 15664-1. Ta dokument določa preskus vode, kadar se preskusni postopek uporablja za: a) ocenitev materiala za odobritev kot referenčni material za kategorijo materialov; b) ocenitev materiala za odobritev na način primerjalnega preskušanja; c) pridobitev podatkov o interakciji lokalne vode z materialom.

3 Foreword This document (EN 15664-2:2010) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 164 “Water supply”, the secretariat of which is held by AFNOR. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by August 2010, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by August 2010. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of patent rights.
