This document specifies the methods of preparation of test specimens and the test methods to be
used in determining the properties of polyamide moulding and extrusion materials. It gives the
requirements for handling test material and for conditioning both the test material before moulding
and the specimens before testing.
This document specifies procedures and conditions for the preparation of test specimens and
procedures for measuring properties of the materials from which these specimens are made are given.
It lists the properties and test methods that are suitable and necessary to characterize polyamide
moulding and extrusion materials.
The properties have been selected from the general test methods in ISO 10350-1. Other test methods in
wide use for, or of particular significance to, these moulding and extrusion materials are also included
in this document, as are the designatory properties viscosity number and tensile modulus given in
ISO 16396-1.

Dieses Dokument legt die Verfahren zur Herstellung von Probekörpern und die zur Bestimmung der Eigenschaften von Polyamid-Formmassen für das Spritzgießen und die Extrusion anzuwendenden Prüfverfahren fest. Es enthält die Anforderungen an die Behandlung des Prüfmaterials und an das Konditionieren sowohl des Prüfmaterials vor dem Formen der Probekörper als auch der Probekörper vor der Prüfung.
Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren und Bedingungen für die Herstellung der Probekörper und Verfahren für die Bestimmung der Eigenschaften der Werkstoffe, aus denen die Probekörper hergestellt werden, fest. Es enthält Eigenschaften und Prüfverfahren, die anwendbar und notwendig sind, um Polyamid-Formmassen für das Spritzgießen und die Extrusion zu charakterisieren.
Die Eigenschaften wurden aus den allgemein gültigen Prüfverfahren, wie sie in ISO 10350 1 festgelegt sind, ausgewählt. Andere weithin gebräuchliche Prüfverfahren oder solche von besonderer Bedeutung für Formmassen für das Spritzgießen und die Extrusion, sowie die kennzeichnenden Eigenschaften Viskositätszahl und Zug Modul aus ISO 16396 1, sind ebenfalls in diesem Dokument aufgenommen.

Le présent document spécifie les méthodes de préparation des éprouvettes et les méthodes d’essai à utiliser pour déterminer les propriétés des matériaux à base de polyamide pour moulage et extrusion. Il donne les exigences requises lors de la manipulation du matériau d’essai, ainsi que lors de conditionnement dudit matériau avant moulage et des éprouvettes avant l’essai.
Le présent document spécifie les modes opératoires et les conditions nécessaires à la préparation des éprouvettes, ainsi que les modes opératoires de mesurage des propriétés des matériaux à partir desquels ces éprouvettes sont fabriquées. Il énumère les propriétés et les méthodes d’essai appropriées et nécessaires à la caractérisation des matériaux à base de polyamide pour moulage et extrusion.
Les propriétés ont été choisies parmi les méthodes d’essai générales données dans l’ISO 10350‑1. Le présent document comprend en outre d’autres méthodes d’essai, présentant une importance particulière ou étant largement utilisées dans le cas de ces matériaux pour moulage et extrusion, de même que les propriétés de désignation: indice de fluidité et module d’élasticité données dans l’ISO 16396‑1.

Ta dokument določa metode za pripravo preskušancev in preskusnih metod za uporabo pri ugotavljanju lastnosti poliamidnih materialov za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje. Podaja zahteve za ravnanje s preskusnim materialom ter obdelavo preskusnega materiala pred oblikovanjem in obdelavo preskušancev pred preskusom.
Ta dokument določa postopke in pogoje za pripravo preskušancev in postopkov za merjenje lastnosti materialov, iz katerih so izdelani preskušanci.
Navedene so lastnosti in preskusne metode, ki so primerne in nujne za opredelitev poliamidnih materialov za oblikovanje in ekstrudiranje.
Lastnosti so bile izbrane na podlagi splošnih preskusnih metod iz standarda ISO 10350-1. Druge preskusne metode, ki so v splošni uporabi ali so posebej pomembne za te materiale za brizganje in ekstrudiranje, so prav tako vključene

1 Scope

This document specifies the methods of preparation of test specimens and the test methods to be

used in determining the properties of polyamide moulding and extrusion materials. Requirements for

handling test material and for conditioning both the test material before moulding and the specimens

before testing are given.

Procedures and conditions for the preparation of test specimens and procedures for measuring

properties of the materials from which these specimens are made are given. Properties and test

methods that are suitable and necessary to characterize polyamide moulding and extrusion materials

are listed.

The properties have been selected from the general test methods in ISO 10350-1. Other test methods in

wide use for, or of particular significance to, these moulding and extrusion materials are also included

in this document, as are the designatory properties viscosity number and tensile modulus of elasticity

given in ISO 16396-1.

4 Preparation of test specimens
4.1 Treatment of the material before moulding or laser sintering

Before processing, the material sample shall have reached room temperature. Before processing, the

moisture content of the material sample shall not exceed 0,2 % (mass fraction) in the case of PAs having

a viscosity number ≤ 200 ml/g and not exceed 0,1 % (mass fraction) in the case of PAs having a viscosity
