This International Standard specifies the equipment and procedures for determining the short-term water absorption of specimens by partial immersion. It is applicable to thermal insulating products.
NOTE It is intended to simulate the water absorption caused by a 24 h raining period during construction work.

ANMERKUNG Mit dem Verfahren kann die Wasseraufnahme simuliert werden, die bei einer 24-stündigen Regenperiode während der Bauzeit auftritt.

This document (EN ISO 29767:2019) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 163 "Thermal
performance and energy use in the built environment" in collaboration with Technical Committee
CEN/TC 88 “Thermal insulating materials and products” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by January 2020, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by January 2020.
Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this document may be the subject of
patent rights. CEN shall not be held responsible for identifying any or all such patent rights.
This document supersedes EN 1609:2013.

Dieses Dokument (EN ISO 29767:2019) wurde vom Technischen Komitee ISO/TC 163 „Thermal
performance and energy use in the built environment“ in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Technischen Komitee
CEN/TC 88 „Wärmedämmstoffe und wärmedämmende Produkte“ erarbeitet, dessen Sekretariat von DIN
gehalten wird.
Diese Europäische Norm muss den Status einer nationalen Norm erhalten, entweder durch Veröffentlichung
eines identischen Textes oder durch Anerkennung bis Januar 2020, und etwaige entgegenstehende nationale
Normen müssen bis Januar 2020 zurückgezogen werden.
Es wird auf die Möglichkeit hingewiesen, dass einige Elemente dieses Dokuments Patentrechte berühren

Vorwort
ISO (die Internationale Organisation für Normung) ist eine weltweite Vereinigung nationaler
Normungsorganisationen (ISO-Mitgliedsorganisationen). Die Erstellung von Internationalen Normen wird
üblicherweise von Technischen Komitees von ISO durchgeführt. Jede Mitgliedsorganisation, die Interesse an
einem Thema hat, für welches ein Technisches Komitee gegründet wurde, hat das Recht, in diesem Komitee

Komitee ISO/TC 163, Thermal performance and energy use in the built environment, Unterkomitee SC 1, Test
and measurement methods, in Übereinstimmung mit der Vereinbarung zur technischen Zusammenarbeit
zwischen ISO und CEN (Wiener Vereinbarung) erarbeitet.
Diese zweite Ausgabe ersetzt die erste Ausgabe (ISO 29767:2008), die technisch überarbeitet wurde. Sie
enthält auch die Änderung ISO 29767:2008/Amd.1:2014. Die wesentlichen Änderungen im Vergleich zur
Vorgängerausgabe sind folgende:
— Der Inhalt in 5.3, 6.4, 7.1 und Abschnitt 10 wurde überarbeitet, um die Bedingungen in Tropenländern
wiederzugeben.
Rückmeldungen oder Fragen zu diesem Dokument sollten an das jeweilige nationale Normungsinstitut des
