1.1 In addition to the requirements given in prEN 15767-1, this European Standard is applicable to water nozzles, including water with fire extinguishing additives. It specifies requirements for safety, performance, classification and designation, as well as test methods, instructions for use and maintenance and marking.
1.2 This European Standard is not applicable to water nozzles that are manufactured before its date of publication.

EN 15767-2:2009 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 15767-2:2009) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 192 “Fire service equipment”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by December 2009, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by December 2009.
