Flexible sheets for waterproofing - Determination of peel resistance of joints - Part 2: Plastic and rubber sheets for roof waterproofing

This European Standard specifies a method for determining the resistance to peeling of joints between two adjacent sheets of the same plastic or rubber sheets for waterproofing. This test method will be used mainly for testing the joints in mechanically fastened plastic or rubber sheets for waterproofing. The peel strength characterises the optimum joint strength which can be reached for a membrane and a joint technique under laboratory conditions. On roofs the joint strength could be clearly reduced due to the non-optimal conditions (e.g. pressure, temperature, humidity, pollution, workmanship). The requirement for the joint technique at the site is to ensure a permanently tight joint.

Abdichtungsbahnen - Bestimmung des Schälwiderstandes der Fügenähte - Teil 2: Kunststoff- und Elastomerbahnen für Dachabdichtungen

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Schälwiderstandes der Fügenähte zwischen zwei benachbarten Dachabdichtungsbahnen fest, die aus dem gleichen Kunststoff oder Elastomer bestehen.
Dieses Prüfverfahren wird im Wesentlichen zur Prüfung der Fügenähte in mechanisch befestigten Dach-abdichtungsbahnen aus Kunststoff oder Elastomer angewendet.
Der Schälwiderstand kennzeichnet die optimale Festigkeit der Fügenaht, die für eine Abdichtungsbahn unter Laborbedingungen mit einem Fügeverfahren erreicht werden kann. Auf Dächern könnte die Festigkeit der Fügenaht aufgrund suboptimaler Bedingungen (z. B. Druck, Temperatur, Feuchtigkeit, Verschmutzung, Ausführung der Arbeit) deutlich verringert sein. Das auf der Baustelle angewendete Fügeverfahren muss sicherstellen, dass die Fügenaht dicht ist.

La présente Norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination de la résistance au pelage des joints formés entre deux feuilles d'étanchéité plastiques ou élastomères, attenantes et du même type.
Cette méthode d’essai est principalement utilisée pour soumettre à l'essai les joints des feuilles d’étanchéité plastiques et élastomères fixées mécaniquement.
La résistance au pelage caractérise la résistance optimale du joint, pour une membrane ou une technique de jonction donnée, qui peut être atteinte dans des conditions de laboratoire. Sur les toitures, des conditions non optimales (qui peuvent être liées par exemple à la pression, à la température, à l'humidité, à la pollution, à la main d'oeuvre, etc.) peuvent provoquer une nette réduction de la résistance des joints. L'exigence applicable à la technique de jonction sur site a pour but de s'assurer que les joints sont étanches de manière permanente.

Ta evropski standard določa metodo za ugotavljanje odpornosti proti razslojevanju spojev med po dvema enakima polimernima oziroma elastomernima trakovoma za tesnjenje. Ta preskusna metoda se uporablja predvsem za preskušanje spojev v mehansko pritrjenih polimernih oziroma elastomernih trakovih za tesnjenje. Odpornost proti razslojevanju označuje optimalno trdnost spoja, ki jo je mogoče doseči za membrano in tehnologijo izdelave spoja pod laboratorijskimi pogoji. Na strehah bi se lahko trdnost spoja občutno zmanjšala zaradi neoptimalnih pogojev (npr. tlak, temperatura, vlaga, onesnaženost, izvedba). Tehnologija izdelave spoja na mestu samem mora zagotavljati trajno tesnjenje spoja.
