Portable equipment for projecting extinguishing agents supplied by fire fighting pumps - Portable monitors - Part 3: Foam devices

In addition to the requirements given in EN 15767-1, this part of this European standard applies to devices designed for aspirating air and projecting low expansion foam and, in some cases, inducting foam concentrate. It specifies requirements for safety, performance, classification and designation, as well as test methods, instructions for use and maintenance and marking. This European Standard is only applicable to foam devices which are manufactured after its date of publication.

1.1 Zusätzlich zu den in prEN 15767 1 enthaltenen Anforderungen gilt der vorliegende Teil dieser Europäischen Norm für Düsen, die für die Luftansaugung und zum Ausbringen von Schwerschaum und, in einigen Fällen, zum Einspeisen von Schaummitteln konstruiert wurden. Er legt Anforderungen an die Sicherheit, die Leistung, die Klassifizierung und Bezeichnung und Prüfverfahren fest, sowie Anforderung an die Anleitung von Gebrauch und Instandhaltung und die Kennzeichnung fest.
ANMERKUNG Bei Anwendung einer Kombination aus Schaumdüse und Werferkörper, die nicht von einem Hersteller empfohlen wird, liegt es in der Verantwortlichkeit des Anwenders, sicherzustellen, dass die Kombination während des Betriebes stabil und sicher ist.
1.2 Die vorliegende Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Schaumdüsen, die vor dem Datum der Veröffentlichung dieser Europäischen Norm hergestellt wurden.

1.1 En complément des prescriptions données dans l’EN 15767-1, la présente partie de la présente Norme
européenne s’applique aux dispositifs conçus pour aspirer de l’air et projeter de la mousse bas foisonnement
et, dans certains cas, pour prémélanger des émulseurs. Elle spécifie des prescriptions relatives à la sécurité,
la performance, la classification et la désignation, ainsi que des méthodes d’essai, des instructions d’utilisation
et d’entretien et le marquage.
1.2 La présente Norme européenne s’applique uniquement aux dispositifs pour la mousse fabriqués après
sa date de publication.

EN 15767-3:2010 (E) 3 Foreword This document (EN 15767-3:2010) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 192 “Fire service equipment”, the secretariat of which is held by BSI. This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2011, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest by March 2011.
